Ayrton Senna
Exposition and visual interpration of Ayrton Senna's last lap
A bare visual motion design film
This video is a tribute to Ayrton Senna’s final lap, capturing the speed, emotion, and tragedy of that moment. On May 1, 1994, Senna’s Williams-Renault crashed due to a broken steering column, though the exact cause remains uncertain. We were asked to make a visual interpretation of his last lap for an exposition. It's a bare visual feeling and motion design film, telling a story of this sad moment.
Known as “The Magic,” Senna’s talent was unmatched, as seen in races like the 1988 Japanese Grand Prix. His legacy inspires many car enthusiasts, and this project reflects his perspective and passion for racing. Senna will forever be a legend.
